The contract for Edus is between us and your institution. Your own access is granted by that institution and can be changed or withdrawn by it at any time.
Accounts are personal. Do not share credentials, and do not sign in on behalf of someone else — the audit log attributes every action to the account that performed it.
Tell your campus admin promptly if you think your account has been used by someone else.
Use Edus for your institution’s legitimate administrative and academic work. Do not attempt to reach records outside your role, scrape the service, or interfere with its operation.
Exporting student data to systems your institution has not approved is a breach of these terms.
Records entered into Edus remain your institution’s. We claim no ownership and use them only to run the service, as set out in the privacy policy.
Assistant answers, generated timetables and voice minutes are drafts. A human must review them before they are relied on, and your institution remains responsible for decisions it takes.
We aim for continuous availability but do not promise it. Planned maintenance is announced in advance and scheduled outside teaching hours in your institution’s timezone where possible.
Module access follows the plan your institution holds — see plans. Changing plan takes effect at the start of the next billing period unless agreed otherwise.
Your institution may end its contract per its order form. On termination, an export of its data is made available for 30 days, after which records are deleted on the retention schedule in the privacy policy.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, liability is capped at the fees your institution paid in the preceding 12 months.
Material changes are notified to institution administrators at least 30 days before they take effect.
